The biggest differnce between Bumble and other widely spread dating apps is that women make the first move. This groundbreaking change revolutionized the dating app industry as it adapted to the current dating scene better than any other website had before. Head of product design for the Bumble app Lara Mendonça's overally philosophy is to put women who she descirbes as "vunerable users" first. Another interesting design idea is the app's color. The yellow is meant to represent happiness. Overall the design behind Bumble is vital to it's success.
